Pedro Madeira After doing a BA and MPhil in Philosophy, I became fascinated by the M&A and investment industry and went to work for Mergermarket, a provider of M&A information. My time there was a steep learning curve. During that period I also completed the IMC (Investment Management Certificate), awarded by the CFA society, passing both exams at the first attempt. I moved to Beauhurst (formerly UKFunders) because I was interested in joining a smaller, earlier-stage, fast-growing company in the financial information space. At Beauhurst I am responsible for coordinating the research team, collaborating closely with the sales and software development teams, monitoring the quality of our data and exploring new and exciting avenues for data expansion.
